Two Arrested After Armed Robbery at Glynn County Motel, Drugs and Gun Recovered
GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Two people have been arrested following an armed robbery at a motel in Glynn County, where investigators also recovered drugs, a firearm, and other evidence, according to police.
Officers with the Glynn County Police Department responded on April 15, 2026, to the Royal Inn in Brunswick after receiving a report of an armed robbery.
Police said the victim arranged to meet a woman at the motel after communicating through an online dating platform. During the encounter, a masked suspect entered the room and robbed the victim at gunpoint. The victim was not injured.
Responding officers quickly identified a motel room connected to the incident and detained multiple individuals without incident. All parties were transported for further questioning.
During a search of the room, investigators recovered a Glock .45 caliber handgun, a micro conversion kit firearm device, a black face mask, and approximately 122 pills that field-tested positive for MDMA, along with smaller amounts of oxycodone and alprazolam. Officers also recovered $300 in cash.
Authorities arrested Antonio Miguel Manning-Turner and charged him with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and multiple drug-related offenses, including possession with intent to distribute.
Zhonae Jakaree Bryonne Scott was also arrested and charged with armed robbery as a party to the crime.
Both were transported to the Glynn County Detention Center.
