Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Hosting Job Fair for Deputy Positions

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is inviting prospective recruits to learn more about careers in law enforcement at an upcoming job fair.

Sgt. Amanda Baker will be available to speak with applicants on Wednesday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Goodwill location on Eisenhower Parkway.

The sheriff’s office is currently accepting applications for the position of deputy sheriff. Officials said new recruits may begin training immediately, either on patrol or in corrections, while serving the community.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
