Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting of Keanna Johnson in Union City

UNION CITY, Ga. — Authorities have arrested and charged a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Keanna Daniela Johnson earlier this year, police announced.

According to the Union City Police Department, the shooting occurred on February 13, 2026, on Westbrook Road. Following what officials described as an extensive investigation, the suspect has been identified, apprehended, and formally charged with murder.

The individual is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail, located at 901 Rice Street.

Police said the case was advanced with the assistance of the victim’s family and friends, as well as support from the College Park Police Department, which aided in the suspect’s apprehension.

Officials credited the outcome to strong collaboration between agencies and the dedicated work of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.

The Union City Police Department also extended condolences to Johnson’s family and loved ones, stating they remain committed to seeking justice in the case.
