Juvenile Arrested in Armed Robbery and Carjacking of Delivery Driver in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Georgia – A male juvenile has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred February 7, 2026, in Savannah, police said.

Officers with the Savannah Police Department responded at approximately 3:15 p.m. to the 100 block of Albion Street following reports of an armed robbery and carjacking. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a food delivery worker, who told investigators the suspect took their vehicle at gunpoint.

Police later located and recovered the stolen vehicle.

On February 11, officers identified a male juvenile as the suspect. He was charged with hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years old, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and armed robbery. He was transported to the Savannah Regional Youth Detention Center.

This marks the second recent juvenile arrest in Savannah, following an unrelated shooting case.
