Roswell Police Arrest Seven in Targeted Shooting Incident
The Roswell Police Department has apprehended three adults and four juveniles in connection with a targeted shooting that resulted in two individuals sustaining injuries.
At approximately 4:00 am on Monday, March 11, Wellstar North Fulton Hospital notified Roswell E-911 about two adult males who had arrived at the emergency room with gunshot wounds. One victim sustained a gunshot wound to the face, while the other was injured in the leg. Both victims are expected to recover.
Upon arrival at the hospital, officers discovered that the victims had been shot at the Roswell Creek Apartments located at 1000 Holcomb Bridge Rd. An investigation revealed that the victims and suspects were acquainted and had been engaged in an ongoing dispute in the days leading up to the incident. On the morning of the shooting, the suspects chased the victims’ vehicle into the apartment complex parking lot and opened fire.
Utilizing the resources of the Roswell Crime Center, investigators swiftly identified and located two vehicles involved in the incident. Subsequently, all seven suspects were taken into custody without further incident by the end of the day. Additionally, several firearms were recovered and seized.
The seven suspects have been charged with two counts of aggravated assault. The four juvenile suspects, aged 15 and 16, were booked into the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. The three adult suspects were identified as Fabian Villamar, 20, of Roswell, Isaac Frias, 19, of Woodstock, and Jimmy Chavez, 17, of Roswell. They were booked into the Fulton County Jail.
