Four Adults Found Dead In Lawrenceville Home, Suspect Arrested

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Gwinnett County Police are investigating a shooting that left four adults dead inside a Lawrenceville home early Friday morning, while three children inside the residence were found unharmed.

According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, officers were dispatched around 2:30 a.m. Jan. 23, 2026, to the 1000 block of Brook Ivy Court after receiving reports of shots fired inside a residence.

When officers arrived, they discovered four adult victims inside the home, all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police said all four victims were related.

Three children were also located inside the residence, hiding in a closet. Authorities said one of the children called 911 to report the shooting. The children were not injured and were later released to the care of a family member.

Police located a suspect a short distance from the home and took the individual into custody without incident. Authorities said there are no outstanding suspects at this time.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation but is believed to be domestic-related. The investigation is ongoing.
