DeKalb County Police, DEA Dismantle Major Pill Mill in Stone Mountain; Two Arrested, 48 Pounds of Meth Seized

Stone Mountain, Ga. – On November 4, 2025, the DeKalb County Police Department’s HIDTA Unit, working with the DEA Tactical Diversion Squad, Narcotics/Vice, SWAT, SOD K9, and STEP, conducted an interdiction stop that resulted in the seizure of 48 pounds of methamphetamine pills and various drug manufacturing materials.

Following the traffic stop, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Canberra Drive in Stone Mountain, uncovering an active pill mill operation. Inside, detectives found additional quantities of methamphetamine pills and powder, six firearms (two confirmed stolen), and two pill press machines used for large-scale drug production.

In total, detectives recovered approximately:

  • 7.2 kilograms (22,800 pills) of Ecstasy
  • 19.4 kilograms of methamphetamine powder
  • 6.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • 2.77 pounds of marijuana

Two suspects were arrested and face multiple drug trafficking and manufacturing charges.

“This operation underscores the exceptional collaboration between local and federal partners working to keep dangerous drugs and illegal weapons off our streets,” the department said in a statement.
