Clayton County Police Searching for Missing 6-Month-Old; Father Named Suspect
Missing: Nnakai Pratt

RIVERDALE, GA – The Clayton County Police Department (CCPD) is continuing its urgent search for 6-month-old Nnakai Pratt, who was reported missing on October 12, 2025, under what police now describe as suspicious circumstances.

At about 8:18 a.m., officers responded to 100 Valley Hill Road after receiving a report of a robbery and kidnapping. The child’s father, Antonio Pearce, told officers he was robbed at gunpoint and that the suspects fled with his infant son. However, investigators say inconsistencies in Pearce’s statements and physical evidence have led them to suspect foul play.

“Due to the nature of the evidence and conflicting testimony, detectives have deemed Mr. Pearce a suspect in his child’s disappearance,” the department said in a statement.

Search efforts have been extensive. Bloodhounds from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and cadaver dogs from the Georgia Piedmont Region K-9 Search and Rescue scoured the area for hours on Sunday with no results. Detectives have executed multiple search warrants at locations connected to the case, but baby Pratt remains missing.

On October 13, CCPD expanded the search area and began canvassing neighborhoods for surveillance footage or witness information. The Spaulding County LAWS (Land Air Water Search) team also joined the effort, providing a cadaver dog to assist.

Police confirmed that Antonio Pearce was taken into custody on unrelated charges but has not yet been charged in connection with his son’s disappearance.

Anyone with information about baby Nnakai Pratt’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3550.
