Third Arrest Made in Safe Haven Mobile Home Park Murder Investigation

MACON, Ga. – A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of David Lamar Morgan at the Safe Haven Mobile Home Park.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, just before 3:30 p.m., the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended 22-year-old Dontae Antez Brown of Macon. Brown was wanted in connection with Morgan’s death, which occurred on October 4, 2023. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Authorities said Brown was already wanted for terroristic threats, criminal damage to property in the second degree, and a state court bench warrant out of Bibb County. He has now been charged with murder and is being held without bond.

This arrest follows two earlier apprehensions in the case. On July 15, 2025, deputies arrested 44-year-old Tyrone Jerry Briscoe of Macon, who was charged with murder. On July 21, 2025, U.S. Marshals arrested 19-year-old Tylon Andrevious Alexander of Macon.
