Monroe County Sheriff Issues BOLO for Man Armed with Axe After Domestic Dispute

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating 56-year-old Benjamin Thomas Hobbs following a domestic dispute in the area of 2900 Hwy 42N.

According to authorities, Hobbs left the scene carrying an axe and is believed to still be armed. He resides in Jackson, Georgia, and is not believed to be in the immediate area.

Hobbs is described as a white male, 5’9″ tall, weighing 203 lbs, with blue eyes and gray hair.
