Camden County School Janitor Arrested for Aggravated Child Molestation

CAMDEN COUNTY, GA – The Camden County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Mason Guarino, an employee of the Camden County School System, on charges of Aggravated Child Molestation. Guarino, a janitor for the school system, is accused of the forceful sodomy of a 15-year-old juvenile.
The arrest was the result of an investigation launched after the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) conducted a forensic interview. After reviewing the findings, investigators secured warrants for Guarino’s arrest.
According to authorities, the incident did not occur while Guarino was working for the school system, and the victim is not a student in the Camden County School System.
Sheriff Kevin Chaney emphasized the commitment to child safety, stating, “The safety and well-being of our children will always be our highest priority. We work closely with the Camden County School System to ensure a safe environment for every student, and when allegations like this arise, we act swiftly and decisively. Our children deserve nothing less.”
