69 Arrested, $1.8M in Drugs and Cash Seized in 3-Month Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force Operation

PAULDING COUNTY, GA – The Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force (NWGDTF) has announced the arrest of 69 drug dealers and traffickers and the seizure of nearly $1.84 million in illegal drugs and proceeds over a recent three-month period from April 1 to June 30, 2025.
The task force, operating under the partnership of the Paulding County District Attorney’s Office, Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Dallas Police Department, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and agencies in Polk and Haralson counties, executed the arrests as part of an ongoing crackdown on drug activity across the region.
In total for fiscal year 2025, which spanned from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, the NWGDTF completed 241 arrests and seized $7,177,693.00 in illegal drugs and cash proceeds.
According to officials, funds recovered from asset forfeitures will be reinvested into drug reduction programs and law enforcement efforts to help offset local tax burdens.
District Attorney Robert S. Lane praised the collaboration between agencies, stating, “While there is much work to be done in the fight against the illegal drug trade, I am grateful to the men and women who work every day to remove drug dealers and their drugs from our community.”
Investigations and enforcement actions remain ongoing.
