Four Arrested After Violent Assault and Stabbing at Low Gap Campground in White County

WHITE COUNTY, GA — Deputies with the White County Sheriff’s Office responded to a violent assault and stabbing on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Low Gap Campground on Low Gap Road. Fire Department and EMS personnel also responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that 44-year-old Krista Wilson had assaulted a 20-year-old woman. During the attack, the woman stabbed Wilson in self-defense. Investigators determined that the woman’s 58-year-old father was also attacked and sustained a severe throat laceration from a glass beer bottle while being beaten on the ground. He was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in critical condition. Krista Wilson was transported to the same hospital in serious condition.
An investigation revealed that four individuals from Lula, GA, assaulted the father and daughter, who are from Waco, GA. The suspects were identified and taken into custody.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery:
- Krista Wilson, 44
- Joshua Wilson, 42
- Joshua Miller, 32
- Charles Miller, 39
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
