SUV Driver Killed in Head-On Collision with 18-Wheeler in Macon
MACON, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred late Thursday night, July 10, 2025, just before 11:00 p.m. on Rocky Creek Road, near Jennifer Drive.
According to investigators, a SUV traveling eastbound crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with an 18-wheeler that was heading west. The male driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured, but the driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased will be released once next of kin have been notified.
