Three Arrested, Stolen Firearm Recovered at Atlanta Street Race
ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta Police officers assigned to the Auto Crime Enforcement Unit made three arrests and recovered a stolen firearm after responding to a report of street racing activity on Memorial Dr. SE near Candler Rd. SE on July 5, 2025.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found numerous vehicles and pedestrians blocking the roadway, with several vehicles “laying drag.” Officers stopped a vehicle attempting to flee the scene and detained its occupants, identified as 20-year-old Emanuel Garcia-Relasco, 19-year-old Katelyn Gamboa-Carrillo, and 18-year-old Anthony Behena-Aviles.
Anthony Behena-Aviles was charged with:
- Theft by Receiving (stolen firearm)
- Participation in Street Racing
- Felony Obstruction
Emanuel Garcia-Relasco was charged with:
- Reckless Driving
- Fleeing & Eluding
- Participation in Street Racing
Katelyn Gamboa-Carrillo was charged with:
- Participation in Street Racing
