Macon Man Arrested, Charged with Murder in Pine Valley Drive Death

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have made an arrest in connection with the death of Brock Fowler, who was found with a stab wound and head injury on Pine Valley Drive on Monday, June 30th. Eric Scott, 49, of Macon, has been charged with murder.

The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center at 5:40 p.m. on Monday. Deputies arriving in the 4700 block of Pine Valley Drive found 35-year-old Brock Fowler unresponsive in the roadway. Paramedics transported him to a medical facility, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to Coroner Leon Jones.

Shortly after the incident, patrol deputies made contact with Scott in the 400 block of Poplar Street. He was transported to Investigations Headquarters, and after further investigation, he was arrested and charged with Murder. Scott was booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center just before 9:00 p.m. and is currently being held without bond.
