Vehicle Crashes Into Union City Home, Ignites Fire

On Monday, June 9th, emergency crews from Union City Fire & Emergency Services, along with mutual aid from Fairburn Fire Department and City of South Fulton Fire, responded to a motor vehicle collision that resulted in a structure fire.

The incident occurred when a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a home, igniting a fire. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control. All occupants of the residence safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported inside the home.

The driver of the vehicle was transported for medical evaluation. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
