Savannah Man Arrested After Domestic Shooting on W. Montgomery Cross Road

A 22-year-old man has been arrested following a domestic shooting that left another man injured on May 30.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., officers with the Savannah Police Department responded to a reported shooting near the 200 block of W. Montgomery Cross Road. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who had sustained a single gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, identified as Terry Butler, was detained at the scene. Following an initial investigation, Butler was charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Conduct, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
