Atlanta Police Investigate Weekend Stabbings and Shootings

Atlanta police are investigating multiple violent incidents that occurred over the weekend, including a double stabbing and two separate shootings, all of which sent victims to the hospital.

On Friday, May 31, 2025, at approximately 1:58 AM, officers responded to Fairway Circle SW where they found a 34-year-old female and a 43-year-old male with apparent stab wounds to their heads and faces. The preliminary investigation suggests the stabbing occurred during a verbal altercation that escalated to a physical dispute at an event on Lakewood Avenue SE. Both victims were transported to the hospital in alert condition.

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, at approximately 8:06 AM, police were called to Peachtree Street SE for a person shot. A 36-year-old male was found with gunshot wounds to his right arm and was transported to the hospital in alert condition.

Later that day, at approximately 10:06 PM, officers responded to Northwest Drive NW regarding another shooting. A 21-year-old male was found with an apparent gunshot wound to his right hand and was transported to the hospital in alert condition.

Investigators with the Major Crimes Response Team and Aggravated Assault Unit are actively investigating all three incidents. Details surrounding the suspects and circumstances of each event remain under investigation.
