Vidalia Man Arrested in Connection to Two Jewelry Store Burglaries
The Vidalia Police Department has arrested 35-year-old Reginald Ra’Jon Mitchell of Vidalia, Georgia, in connection with two recent jewelry store burglaries.
On Saturday, March 15, 2025, at approximately 6:48 a.m., patrol officers responded to KE Butler & Co. Jewelers following reports of a burglary. Through investigation, officers identified Mitchell as the suspect. He was located and arrested the following day, Sunday, March 16, 2025, at around 3:00 p.m.
Investigators also linked Mitchell to a previous burglary that occurred on February 23, 2025, at Brown’s Jewelry.
Mitchell has been charged with:
- Two counts of Smash and Grab Burglary
- One count of Providing a False Name to a Law Enforcement Officer
The investigation remains ongoing.
