Suspect Arrested for Burglaries at White County Schools

White County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested Christopher James Crocker in connection with burglaries at White County High School and Tesnatee Gap Elementary School.
On February 23, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a suspect dressed in camouflage clothing, gloves, and a black mask broke into the White County High School Sports Complex concession stand. The suspect then proceeded to Tesnatee Gap Elementary School, where he unlawfully entered the cafeteria office and stole approximately $30.
Elementary school faculty notified the White County Sheriff’s Office on the morning of February 24, 2025. Deputies cleared the school and reviewed security footage, which showed the suspect riding a blue and black bicycle.
Investigators located a bicycle matching the description near both schools. An interview with the resident and a subsequent search warrant execution led to the discovery of evidence linking Chris Crocker to the crimes.
Crocker was arrested in Doraville, GA, on February 25, 2025, and is currently booked in the White County Jail. He faces the following charges:
- Two counts of Burglary in the 2nd Degree
- Two counts of Criminal Damage to Property
