Glynn County Officer Recovers Stolen Car on I-95

A North Carolina woman was arrested on I-95 after being found in possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
On Monday, February 24, 2025, at approximately 9:04 a.m., Officer Shane Nolen, while patrolling southbound on I-95 near mile marker 35, was alerted by his License Plate Recognition System that a black Toyota RAV-4 had been reported stolen from North Carolina.
Officer Nolen conducted a traffic stop near mile marker 32 and took the driver, 36-year-old Delisha Oxendine of Trinity, North Carolina, into custody without incident.
During an interview with GCPD Major Crimes Investigators, Oxendine admitted to stealing the vehicle from her mother that morning. It was also discovered that Oxendine was on probation for vehicle theft and had removed her ankle monitor.
Oxendine has been charged with Theft by Bringing Stolen Property into the State. Upon her release, she will face charges of vehicle theft and probation violation in North Carolina.
