Macon Man Arrested After Gunfire Strikes Multiple Homes

A Macon man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated assault investigation after multiple homes were struck by gunfire late Tuesday night.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit responded to reports of shots fired in the 1700 block of Graham Road at 11:37 p.m. on February 4, 2024. Deputies arrived to find several residences hit by bullets, but no injuries were reported.

During the investigation, authorities learned that the suspect had returned to the scene. Deputies identified him as 38-year-old Travor Honeywood of Macon, who was already wanted in Bibb County for multiple traffic offenses. Honeywood was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

He is charged with seven counts of aggravated assault and is being held without bond.
