Convicted Felon Stopped for Recklessly Passing on Napier Ave, Arrested for Drugs and Firearm

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) deputy initiated a traffic stop on Napier Avenue after observing a pickup truck speeding and using the center lane to pass other vehicles.

During the stop, a K-9 Interdiction Unit deputy conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered various narcotics and a firearm. The driver, identified as a convicted felon, was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

The suspect faces multiple charges related to drugs and weapons possession. Authorities have not released additional details at this time.
