Two 15-year-old Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit in Stolen Kia in Bibb County

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) deputies apprehended two 15-year-olds following a vehicle pursuit involving a stolen Kia Soul on Friday.

The incident began when deputies attempted a traffic stop on a Kia Soul without a tag traveling at a high rate of speed on Rocky Creek Road. The driver ignored the stop, recklessly turning onto Bloomfield Drive and driving onto the curb and sidewalk. The pursuit ended when the driver lost control, veering through a yard on Mickey Street.

Three occupants fled the vehicle on foot. After a brief chase, deputies apprehended two teenagers. The third individual remains at large.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
