Suspect Arrested for Multiple Vehicle Thefts at Atlanta Airport Rental Car Center
On November 25, 2024, an Atlanta Police officer patrolling the Rental Car Center at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport apprehended a suspect identified as 28-year-old Jaquavious Crenshaw for prowling on the property.
The officer, alerted to suspicious activity, located Crenshaw and called for additional units while providing updates on his movements.
Further investigation revealed Crenshaw had stolen a Kia Forte and a Kia Sorento from the Rental Car Center on November 24, 2024. He also attempted to steal an Audi A6 on November 25, but the attempt was thwarted by a security barrier.
Crenshaw was charged with:
- Theft by Taking (Automobile)
- Theft by Taking (Key fob)
- Prowling
- Entering an Automobile
Authorities determined that Crenshaw had two prior arrests for auto thefts, including one in 2022 at the same Rental Car Center. He was transported to the Fulton County Jail.
