28-Year-Old Augusta Man Found Dead in Warrenton Shooting, GBI Investigating

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating the death of Keveonta Hill, 28, of Augusta, following a fatal shooting at a residence in Warrenton. On Sunday, September 22, 2024, around 4:20 p.m., officers from the Warrenton Police Department responded to a home in the 100 block of Culpepper Street after receiving reports of a shooting. Inside, officers found Hill with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The GBI Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy at the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur.
