Atlanta Man Shot During Encounter with Masked Suspect on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway
On September 17, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Atlanta Police responded to reports of shots fired at the intersection of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and West Lake Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim was conscious, alert, and breathing. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was scheduled to meet a female friend at the location. Upon arrival, he was confronted by a male suspect wearing a ski mask, who began shooting at him while he was in his vehicle. The victim fled the scene and was eventually located by responding units who had heard the gunshots.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
