Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help in Locating Missing 79-Year-Old

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in locating a missing person. On September 3, 2024, at 9:40 a.m., family members reported that 79-year-old Carl Isiah Ford of Macon was missing. Ford was last seen leaving a residence in the 4000 block of Dorothy Avenue.

Ford is described as five-foot-eleven inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with gray hair and a slender build. He was wearing a gray shirt and gray slides at the time of his disappearance. Ford suffers from dementia and was reported to have wandered off without his required medication.
