Seven Arrested in Macon Drug Investigation, GBI Seizes Fentanyl, Meth and 11 Guns
MACON, Ga. – Seven people were arrested following a nine-month drug investigation in Macon that led authorities to seize suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, 11 firearms and more than $7,000, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The investigation culminated Sept. 15 when the GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force executed arrest warrants for three suspects and agents subsequently searched two locations in Macon.
Agents reported seizing about 16 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, four ounces of suspected fentanyl and 18 ounces of suspected marijuana. Investigators also recovered pills suspected of being oxycodone and Xanax, 11 firearms and more than $7,000 in cash.
The searches resulted in four additional arrests.
Joseph Eugene Robinson, 21, of Macon, was arrested on outstanding warrants for trafficking methamphetamine. He was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances.
Martaviyus Tremoses Collins, 32, of Warner Robins, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and probation violation.
Terrell Shemar Moore, 29, of Macon, was arrested on three outstanding warrants for trafficking methamphetamine.
Egypt Elizabeth Lumpkin, 26, of Macon, was charged with seven counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances. The GBI said Lumpkin was also wanted in Morgan County on drug distribution charges.
Chris’Shayla Denise Miller, 29, of Macon, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, seven counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances.
Quinton Lamar Johnson, 38, of Forsyth, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of methamphetamine and probation violation.
Jessica King, 34, of Warner Robins, was arrested on outstanding Bibb County warrants for financial identity fraud and Houston County warrants for failure to appear on a methamphetamine possession charge.
All seven were booked into the Bibb County Jail.
The investigation involved the GBI’s Middle Georgia Gang Task Force, Oconee Drug Task Force and Ocmulgee Drug Task Force along with the Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Department of Community Supervision, Georgia Department of Corrections and sheriff’s offices in Bibb, Houston and Peach counties.
The charges are accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
