Wanted Macon Man Arrested on Family Violence, Theft Warrants; Held Without Bond

MACON, Ga. – A 26-year-old man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit after deputies located his vehicle at a park and later tracked him to a Macon business.

Deputies arrested Cameren Dillion Freeman, 26, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the area of Brookdale Avenue near Vineville Avenue.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies initially located Freeman’s unoccupied vehicle at a park in the Payne City area. After identifying the vehicle’s owner and determining Freeman had active warrants, deputies began searching for him.

The S.R.T. Unit subsequently located Freeman at a nearby business and took him into custody.

Authorities said Freeman was uncooperative during his arrest and later during a court hearing. He was also on probation stemming from a previous conviction at the time of his arrest.

Freeman was booked into the Bibb County Jail, where he is being held without bond.

According to jail records, Freeman faces multiple charges, including two counts of Theft by Taking, Battery-Family Violence, Simple Battery-Family Violence, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Damage to Property in the Second Degree, Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers, Contempt of Court and Probation Violation. Records also list an additional Battery-Family Violence charge.
