Two Brothers Arrested After Threatening Bibb County Jail
MACON, Ga. — Two Macon brothers were arrested on consecutive days after authorities say one threatened to shoot up the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center and the other threatened to break his sister out of jail.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Noah Center was arrested on Friday, June 26, after allegedly calling the sheriff’s office four times and threatening to open fire on the jail unless his sister was released.
Deputies located Center at a residence on Society Street, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Center was charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts.
The following day, Saturday, June 27, deputies arrested 26-year-old Matthew Allen Baxley after investigators say he made a false report to law enforcement before calling back and stating that he had outstanding warrants and intended to break his sister out of jail.
Baxley was also arrested at the Society Street residence.
