One Injured in Crash at Eisenhower Parkway and Macon Tech Drive

MACON, Ga. — One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Macon Tech Drive, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Patrol Division deputies responded to the crash on June 23 after receiving reports of an accident at the busy intersection.

According to the preliminary investigation, the collision occurred when the driver of a Ford Edge allegedly ran a red light while traveling on Eisenhower Parkway.

Investigators said the Ford struck a Honda CRV that was entering the intersection from Macon Tech Drive.

The driver of the Honda suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local medical facility for treatment.

Authorities said the driver of the Ford was not injured in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
