Bibb County Deputies Searching for Suspect After Fatal Stabbing at Macon Inn

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect following a fatal stabbing at a motel on Riverside Drive.

Deputies responded to the Macon Inn shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a stabbing following a verbal altercation.

When deputies arrived, they found 33-year-old Michael Foster II suffering from a stab wound.

Foster was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to authorities.

Investigators have identified 26-year-old Quatravious Le’Chelton Napier as the suspect in the case and are actively searching for him.

Napier is described as a Black male standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. Authorities said he has several tattoos, including a cross tattoo on his forehead.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has released a photograph of Napier and is urging anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.

The death investigation remains active and ongoing.
