Three Suspects Wanted in Shooting That Injured 6-Year-Old Near Rome Park

ROME, Ga. — Police have obtained arrest warrants for three individuals believed to be involved in a shooting earlier this month that left a young child injured.

According to the Rome Police Department, the shooting occurred April 8, 2026, near Banty Jones Park and resulted in a 6-year-old boy being injured.

Authorities have identified the following suspects:

  • Isaiah Imari Curtis North, 18
  • Tydarius Arthur McClure, 17, who is currently in custody
  • A third suspect, a juvenile, whose identity has not been released due to state law

Police said the case progressed after members of the community provided key information to investigators.

Officials are now asking for additional public assistance in locating the remaining suspects.
