Man Found Shot to Death after Crash in Snellville Area, Police Investigating

SNELLVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a fatal shooting after a man was found dead inside a vehicle following a crash Friday night in the Snellville area.

On March 13, 2026, at approximately 10:05 p.m., officers from the Gwinnett County Police Department South Precinct responded to a person shot call in the 2900 block of Spruce Circle in unincorporated Snellville.

According to police, the 911 caller reported that a vehicle had crashed into his car and that the driver of the other vehicle appeared to be unconscious.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located an adult male inside the vehicle who was deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are currently interviewing witnesses. The Gwinnett County Police Crime Scene Unit is processing the area and collecting evidence as part of the investigation.

Authorities said the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no immediate threat to the public.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
