16-Year-Old Wanted for Murder After Fatal Shooting in South Augusta
AUGUSTA, Georgia – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 16-year-old wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday evening in South Augusta.
Kenneth Terrell Singleton is wanted for murder following a homicide reported in the 3400 block of Winesap Way on February 18, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Deputies say the victim, identified as 19-year-old Camron Hallingquest of Williston, South Carolina, was found inside his 2010 Honda Accord suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. After being shot, Hallingquest reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the carport of a nearby residence.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Singleton currently has active warrants for Murder and Armed Robbery through the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and should be considered armed and dangerous. Authorities say he is known to frequent areas near Coleman Avenue and the Meadowbrook subdivision.
