Ten Arrested in Multi-County Drug Trafficking Bust in West Georgia
Pike County, GA – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested ten individuals in connection with a major drug trafficking operation spanning Pike, Coweta, and Clayton counties. The arrests came after a months-long investigation conducted by the GBI West Georgia Gang Task Force in collaboration with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office and several other law enforcement agencies.
Those arrested face charges including Felony Use of a Communication Facility During the Commission of a Felony involving a Controlled Substance and Attempt or Conspiracy to Violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act. The suspects are: Toccara Andrews, Christine Chason, Johnnie Cochran, Ronnie Flemister, Calvin Gates, Jamayain Mays, Jeffrey Poston, Tyrone Smith, Fredrick Williams, and Wendy Woodruff. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
The investigation began in August 2025, targeting Flemister’s activities and uncovering a broader drug trafficking network operating in the region. On November 25, law enforcement executed multiple search warrants, seizing approximately 1,302 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 198 grams of suspected cocaine, 923 grams of suspected MDMA, 400 grams of suspected marijuana, seven firearms, and roughly $38,000 in cash.
Nine of the suspects were booked into the Pike County Jail, one into the Clayton County Jail, and one into the Coweta County Jail. Authorities emphasize the collaborative effort of multiple agencies to combat street-level drug distribution and enhance public safety across West Georgia.
