Woman Found Dead in Vehicle on Aspen Drive in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman found inside a vehicle on Aspen Drive near Mt. Pleasant Church Road in Macon. The call came in to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center around 6:11 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26.

Deputies arrived to find a 27-year-old woman unresponsive in the vehicle. Paramedics attempted to treat her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley. The victim has been identified as Peyton Lynn Foster, and her family has been notified.

Investigators say no foul play is suspected at this time. Foster’s body will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy.
