Bibb County Deputies Investigate Armed Robbery at Lucky Food Mart

MACON, Ga. – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday evening at the Lucky Food Mart on Main Street.

The incident was reported at 6:49 p.m. after an individual entered the store at 807 Main Street, pulled out a firearm and demanded cash from the employee on duty. According to investigators, the suspect left the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported.

Deputies describe the suspect as a Black male who was wearing brown coveralls and a ski mask. An image taken from the store’s surveillance cameras has been released to help identify him.
