Investigators Tie Widespread Package Theft Scheme to FedEx Subcontractor Drivers in Stephens County
The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office says a months-long investigation has uncovered a package theft ring involving several FedEx Ground subcontractor drivers, with stolen deliveries tied to both local drug activity and a larger trafficking case.
The probe began on April 1, 2025, when deputies responded to a report from a resident who never received a package that FedEx had marked as delivered. The customer later learned the contents had been sold on Facebook Marketplace. Investigators traced the stolen item to Quandrickus Dominique Major, a driver for a third-party logistics contractor working for FedEx Ground. Detectives developed probable cause showing Major had taken the package and sold it in March.
In early May, deputies obtained warrants for both Major’s arrest and a search of his home on Webb Road. During the search, investigators found illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and multiple FedEx packages and packing slips belonging to other recipients. Major was arrested later that day and booked on several charges, including multiple counts of misdemeanor Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, marijuana possession, and possession of drug-related objects. He was released on a $16,000 bond.
As detectives continued their work, they determined that other drivers for the same FedEx subcontractor were also involved in package thefts. With assistance from FedEx representatives, investigators identified two additional drivers, Daniel Glasco and Quentin Jackson, both of Toccoa.
On October 1, 2025, detectives executed several residential and commercial search warrants connected to the Colbert Drug Trafficking Operation. Glasco and Jackson were arrested during that operation, and investigators recovered numerous stolen items believed to have been taken from FedEx Ground trucks. Two additional men, Manathan Colbert and Quincy Jones, were also found in possession of stolen goods that were allegedly traded for narcotics.
Along with RICO charges brought by the GBI, Glasco now faces one count of Theft by Taking and three counts of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. Investigators say additional charges may be filed as the case develops.
All individuals linked to the theft scheme have since been terminated by the subcontractor. The sheriff’s office says FedEx has fully cooperated throughout the investigation.
Detectives are still working to identify victims whose packages may have been stolen. Anyone who believes a FedEx shipment may have been taken is asked to file a claim through FedEx’s customer support site at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/customer-support/claims.html.
