Two Arrested in Bibb County Aggravated Assault That Injured 10-year-old Boy
MACON, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests in connection with an aggravated assault that injured a 10-year-old boy last month.
On November 18, 2025, shortly before noon, a Property Division Investigator spotted a stolen vehicle in the 3400 block of Houston Avenue. With assistance from Traffic Division Deputies, two suspects were taken into custody at a nearby residence without incident. The stolen vehicle and keys, originally reported stolen out of Warner Robins, were recovered.
The suspects were identified as 19-year-old Trevonta Makell Williams and 18-year-old Obrien Jaylon Leonard. A Violent Crimes Investigator linked both suspects to a shooting incident on October 26, 2025, in the 3900 block of Mathis Street. During that incident, the suspects were reportedly inside a stolen vehicle when a 10-year-old boy was injured.
Obrien Leonard faces charges of felony theft by taking, felony theft by receiving stolen property, and aggravated assault. Trevonta Williams is charged with probation violation, two counts of felony theft by receiving stolen property, and aggravated assault. Both suspects have been denied bond.
