Atlanta Police Arrest Murder Suspect with Extensive Criminal History
ATLANTA, GEORGIA – On November 18, 2025, Atlanta Police Homicide Investigators, assisted by the APD Fugitive Unit and Zone 4 Crime Suppression Units, located and arrested 40-year-old Georgio Glover in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month. Glover was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Fulton County Jail.
Glover is charged with Murder, Felony Murder, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and False Statements.
Investigators note that Glover has an extensive criminal history, with 18 prior arrest cycles. His previous charges include Possession of Marijuana, Simple Battery, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, firearm-related offenses, Probation Violation, Murder, Battery against a Pregnant Female, Cruelty to Children, Terroristic Threats, and Gang-related charges.
The arrest stems from a shooting on November 12, 2025. Officers were dispatched at 6:18 p.m. to 3021 Middleton Road NW after reports of a person shot. Units arrived to find a 36-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The case remains active and ongoing.
