Deputies Arrest Suspect Tied to Multiple Downtown Macon Burglaries
Bibb County deputies arrested a man suspected of breaking into several downtown Macon businesses.
On Saturday evening, November 15, 2025, patrol units responded to the 500 block of Cherry Street after reports of a suspicious man in the area. Witnesses pointed deputies to an individual believed to be connected to recent burglaries at Fatty’s Pizza.
Deputies identified the man as 65-year-old Raymond Lester Andrews Jr. After confirming he was the same suspect involved in the October 15 and November 12 burglaries, deputies arrested him without incident near Poplar Street and Second Street.
Investigators later tied Andrews to two more downtown break-ins: Your Pie Pizza on October 19 and Fall Line Brewery on September 11.
He is charged with three counts of second-degree felony burglary and is being held without bond. The investigation remains active, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
