Loaded magazine found on Frontier Airlines flight at Atlanta Airport

On November 9, 2025, at approximately 4:32 PM, Atlanta Police officers responded to a report of a firearm magazine found on board a Frontier Airlines flight at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The incident occurred at Gate C-6 in Concourse C.

A passenger discovered what appeared to be a loaded magazine containing ten hollow-point rounds near seat 7A on an Airbus A320. The flight was operating a turnaround route between Cincinnati and Atlanta, and the magazine, marked with the initials “K H,” was found during boarding for the return flight to Cincinnati.

Officers coordinated with TSA, the Department of Aviation, Frontier Airlines, Homeland Security, and Atlanta Police K-9 units to conduct a thorough deplaning and search of the aircraft. No other items of concern were discovered. TSA re-screened all passengers, and the flight departed safely at 7:56 PM.
