Cleveland Teen Arrested on Child Cruelty Charges

WHITE COUNTY, GA – Alyssa Marie Clark, 18, of Cleveland, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with two counts of cruelty to children, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Cleveland Police Department confirmed.

The investigation began on November 4, 2025, when the Cleveland Police Department requested GBI assistance in a child abuse case. While the inquiry is ongoing, authorities said evidence gathered so far led to Clark’s arrest.

She was booked into the White County Detention Center. Once the investigation is complete, the case will be forwarded to the Enotah Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
