Teen Critically Injured in Shooting on Gray Highway, Bibb County Sheriff Investigating

Macon, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Saturday night shooting that left a 16-year-old boy critically injured.

Deputies responded to the 900 block of Gray Highway just after 8:30 p.m. on November 8, after a report of a person shot. When they arrived, deputies found the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics transported the teen to a local medical facility, where he remains in critical but stable condition, according to medical staff.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting. No suspect information has been released at this time.
