Man Arrested After Attempted Security Breach at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport
Atlanta Police arrested a man Thursday morning following an attempted security breach at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
At approximately 8:28 a.m. on October 30, 2025, officers responded to reports of a disturbance near the main security checkpoint. Before police arrived, the suspect was stopped by a civilian and TSA agents, preventing him from breaching the checkpoint area.
The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Leon Fabian, was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported, and airport operations continued without disruption.
Fabian has been charged with Simple Battery and Avoiding or Interfering with Security Measures.
Authorities say the swift actions of TSA agents and bystanders helped ensure the safety and security of travelers during the incident.
