Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Seizes 1K in Drugs, Arrests Multiple Suspects

Over the past 30 days, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has conducted a significant crackdown on illegal drugs and criminal activity, seizing a total of $361,597 in narcotics, recovering nine firearms, and confiscating a stolen vehicle. These efforts were led by the MCSO Collaborative Intelligence Group and Special Operations Unit as part of an ongoing initiative to remove dangerous substances from the community and disrupt criminal enterprises.

Seized items included:

  • Fentanyl – 330.7 grams ($132,280)
  • Methamphetamine – 2.1 pounds ($91,400)
  • Cocaine – 1.3 pounds ($58,888)
  • Marijuana – 9.4 pounds ($42,999)
  • Xanax – 1,300 pills ($33,000)
  • Oxycodone – 106 pills ($2,120)
  • Adderall – 43 pills ($860)
  • Ecstasy – 5 grams ($50)
  • Firearms – 9
  • Stolen vehicle – 1
  • Cash – $140,380

Arrests and charges:

  • Carlos Alberto Recinos-Juarez: Trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
  • Travis Reeves: Trafficking methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of Schedule IV with intent, three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana.
  • Anquantio Smith: Trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug-related objects.
  • Garrett McKay: Trafficking fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana.
  • Jacorey Ewing: Trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule II with intent, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug-related objects, possession of pills not in original container.
  • Eric Humphries: Aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
  • Elijah Smith: Trafficking methamphetamine or amphetamine, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug-related objects, criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark, violation of probation, possession/receiving stolen property, obstruction.
  • Arthur Stewart: Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of Ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects.
  • Stephen Welch: Possession of methamphetamine.
  • Celine Sheets: Possession of methamphetamine.
  • Krystal Foxworth: Felony bench warrant for two counts of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Marcus Tucker: Distribution of obscene materials.

Sheriff’s Office officials emphasized that these arrests are part of an ongoing effort to combat criminal activity in Muscogee County. Investigations remain active, and additional charges and arrests are expected.

The MCSO continues to encourage residents to report suspicious activity and remain vigilant to help keep the community safe.
