Bibb County Deputies Arrest Suspect in Dollar General Burglary

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested a suspect in connection with a commercial burglary at a Dollar General in Macon. The call came into the Macon Bibb Emergency-911 Center on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:50 a.m.

Deputies responded to the store at 1444 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard after surveillance footage showed a male forcibly entering the business. Upon arrival, deputies apprehended the suspect, 58-year-old Rodney Wade Fyffe of Macon, without incident. Stolen merchandise was recovered in his possession.

Fyffe has been charged with Felony Second Degree Burglary and is currently being held without bond at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
